Description
The characters that we are introduced to in Fish in a Tree are so very memorable, AND they offer us a great opportunity to instruct our students about characterization!
Included in this resource are several different ways to meet the characters of Fish in a Tree.
These templates are designed to work for any chapter in the book. Characterization pages are included for Ally, Keisha, Albert, Jessica, Shay, Travis, and Mr. Daniels.
Each character has four pages of information to choose from. The TEN skills covered include:
★ Annotating to find a character’s thoughts and actions.
★ Annotating to find a character’s dialogue and physical descriptions.
★ Static vs. dynamic characters.
★ Protagonist vs. antagonist characterization.
★ Internal and external character traits.
You can use these templates once, twice, or for every chapter the character appears in.
