Description
Fish in a Tree is a GREAT novel with tons of content that lends itself to your classroom! Throughout the novel, Ally draws pictures in her Impossible Things Sketchbook. Her wild imagination and her artistic creativity allow Ally to express herself through drawings that are sometimes silly, yet many have meaning for her as well.
This resource was designed for my classroom students to have an artistic piece of this novel study during our Fish in a Tree unit. The sketchbook allows readers to connect more closely with Ally and understand her struggles.
This pack includes the following pages:
✔ Ally’s Sketchbook
✔ Templates for your students to make their OWN sketchbook.
✔ Red X’s to cross off the “IM” in impossible.
✔ A link to Linda Mullaly Hunt’s own personal drawings that Ally imagined.
