Fish in a Tree Research Projects

Description

Fish in a Tree is a GREAT novel with tons of content that lends itself to your classroom! Throughout the novel, Albert educates his friends Ally and Keisha on some amazing things in our world, like stonefish and the color purple. Students who read this novel get a glimpse into these topics that interest Albert, and now it’s time for our students to learn more!

There are SIXTEEN pre-researched topics that Albert discusses throughout the book. These are topics that are of interest to him, and Albert has obviously researched these topics himself. Now, it’s your students’ turn to research and learn even more about these fascinating concepts.

For each topic, I researched three student-friendly websites that are appropriate for younger eyes. They are organized in terms of difficulty so that you can differentiate for your students easily if needed.

This pack includes the following pages:

✔ Research topics from Fish in a Tree that are mentioned in the novel. Each page has three resources included!

✔ Many people with dyslexia were listed in Chapter 47. Students can research these people. Resources are not listed for these people; this was done purposefully, for differentiation.
